Too bad nothing about the COST was addressed by Mr Obama

I woke up this morning and got a drink of water, which is clean because my Socialist government tells the water plant that it must be so. I made some coffee without fear of being electrocuted because my Socialist government tells the manufacturer to build in safety measures to prevent electrocution. I flushed my toilet and my doo-doo went to the sanitation plant instead of my back yard because my Socialist government tells the city that there must be a public sewer system. I have no fear of catching small pox, chicken pox, polio, or other deadly diseases because my Socialist government mandated vaccinations. I drove my car to work on public roads with traffic signs because my Socialist government mandated safe roads for me to drive on. And I learned how to write this post because my Socialist government mandated that I attend school and provided the funds for my education via taxation.

I wonder, Mr. and Mrs. Teabagger, what has Socialism done for you in America? And yes, I am an American.

If you really think this will drive down insurance cost then look what mandated
car insurance has done for all drivers. Ha, what a gullible society we are!

thank god it passed. Do you sebrad know what it is like to not be able to get health care because of preexisting? My sister in law died because she refused to accept charity, use the emergency room, because she did not have the money. She was over income for medicade, which does not cover adults without children. She worked, and her husband worked. She neededtests, was trying to save money, and had a massive heart attach. Watch what you say and think, because the same thing could happen to you.

i guess i don't understand the difference in making us buy car insurance and making us buy health insurance. They would both be in place to protect anyone else from having to pay for what your responsible for. I get that if you have the money you can just take care of your problems. But the general population is not in a position to throw out thousands of dollars at one time when something happens. Which is what i thought insurance what put in place for anyway.

I don't agree with portions of Obamacare. However i do believe it is a step towards fixing a problem in America that is not being addressed and it will effect children and grandchildren for generations to come if we don't start somewhere.

Great news I had to pay out of my pocket in younger years of my life;I had no ins.This will help get a lower price on health care and controll hospital;doctors and medician prices.Hopefully our government will do there jobs and get the best coverage and the lowest cost availible so that all people can enjoy this great bennifit.Hopefully our congress can pass this without any of there monkey business;you have already made a deal; so live up to your word or you will be voted out.Remember you are nothing more than an employee of the people;not better than anyone else in this country;it is time to cut your own pay like you did to the auto workers;lets see what you would do; on that issue.The people will be watching.

The shame of all of this is those who can't afford health insurance let alone a home and food are going to be hit the hardest. What are there choices here, a home, food, or health ins... you choose! Another tax on the poor pretty soon they will be living in a card board box underneath the over pass... It needs to be fair and health insurance companies need to stop over charging everyone. That is where the government should have went, not the poor people of this country. One can make to much money to get assistance and not even money to pay for the high priced health insurance and the court was right, it is a tax!!! The Supreme court got one thing right, we have elections and we can vote. I say get out there and make your voices heard in November.

What Obama is trying to do to our country is a shame and people need to raise up and vote in a real change that we can believe in, not one who is all talk and NO ACTION like Obama. Obama thinks he is a pretty man, but in fact he a wolf in sheep's clothing, a real double talker. Everything the democrats say about blaming the republicans is in reality exactly what they are doing. They are lying to the American people continually, and anyone that believes their line of crap are blinded by their lies.... Americans need to step up and help change the course Obama has our country on. I will never bow to anyone, we are exceptional and a nation of good and great people.... When Hollywood gets behind the candidate something is wrong, cause those folks don't have clue about what it's like to be dirt poor in this country. To have to fight to just stay alive.. if they really want to help this country start giving the government money to pay down that HUGE debt that Obama has created!!

One last thing, it is a real SHAME that Eric Holder will not come clean about what happened to Brian Terry. For 18 months they have been asked and have gotten nothing. We all should unite for that young man's family, they have a right to know what happened to their son and why! Eric Holder you are a shame to this country and all the American people. Shame on you!!! Shame on you!!! and shame on all those democrats that walked out on the vote, its like they just said they don't give a dam for a young man who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our Freedom!!! Shame on all of you, we need to stand by this young man's family and demand that they tell the truth. What if Brian Terry were you son, would you go away quietly? I wonder if Obama was in on this and that is why he claim executive privilege, what is he hiding, this should make everyone wonder!

To all of you who want to claim racist on anyone who fights back because of what these 2 men are hiding, think twice cause color has nothing to do with, the truth and being a good person it what this is all about!!! No scapegoating allowed here!!!

Adeadbeat person, is a person who can afford health ins. but don't buy it. He spungges of the people who can, and plays the poor me card. There are people who can not affrod health ins, (being out of work,sick, handy-cap,etc,etc. these are the people in which this law was past,WAY TO GO MR. PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Mr. President for the health care laws that will be earmarked in history books as one of the greatest laws ever passed. After these laws are fully implemented the whole nation will be cheering them.Also a big THANK YOU OBAMA for saving the auto industry along with thousands of jobs.What a mess it would be without your decision to save the auto industry.

The truth is out Republicans and their media blitz
painted everything wrong for America when the ACA was passed and affirmed. It
is a necessity to curve future cost of social programs and medical cost. It is
amazing for the last few years the Republicans have boasted on not reading the
ACA because of the amount of pages and information so they just assumed no one else
would. The Supreme Court had to and now their opinions are posted dispelling
most of the arguing points the opposition misinformed the public by false
advertising the entire reasoning and benefits for ACA. It is a ’Penalty”
according to the written record and enforced through tax codes. It is not a Tax
increase. I must assume they (Republican operatives) either bought their law
degrees or traded them for loyalty to big businesses and corporate sponsors. I
have followed the Fox News station and witnessed their reporters and guest
continues to undermine Americans of truthful information about this administration
and policies, even to the point of rebellion. Do they research, read, rectify
or just convey talking points to pretend to justify false information. We all
can understand having different policies/proposals but to refuse any
commonality for Americans is the true division. The question becomes what benefit to America
does this constant barrage and mean-spirited analysis help Americans or is
there another motive? I saw an article today by Ralph Nader stating Democrats
should go on the offensive and share through the media the proposals for jobs
and alternatives the Republicans have proposed. In addition highlight how each
Congressman voted since President Obama started his term and we all will be
able to see who all have been contributing or obstructing the progress for assisting
American citizens. I think the American public deserves to know since we have
seen our jobs outsourced, savings blown, housing devastated, and medical cost
soar. False promises such as the 2010 Republican elections did not bring jobs
only more state governing over the people because they have stacked the deck
against the people or so it seems.
