First: It seems like a gimmick. The author could be anyone or even a group; of which, none of them ever served a day in the military: for all we know.

Second: There has been a lot of platter and accusations about damaging leaks from the White House. It is yet to be determined where those leak came from or why the information was leaked. If we want to talk about devastating leak, there has been few leaks more devastating, sense Gen. Arnold in the 1700s, than the one; that completely gave up CIA operation techniques and exposed CIA operatives though out the Middle East and Europe, during the G. W. Bush administration. It is unquestioned where that leak came from or why it was done.
