Subscribe to RSSJill Kelley and her twin sister have lunched at the White House twice, and they toured the White House days before the scandal broke. Records show Paula Broadwell has also visited the White House, attending meetings on Afghanistan. NBC's Andrea Mitchell reports.
Jill Kelley and Paula Broadwell, the two women at the center of the David Petraeus scandal, both visited the White House multiple times during the last four years.
Kelley has visited three times since September of this year, and Broadwell’s two visits were in 2009 and 2011, a White House official told NBC News on Friday, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Kelley’s trips were set up by a White House staffer she met at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., where she served as an unpaid social coordinator.
The staffer hosted Kelley and her twin sister, Natalie Khawam, for breakfast in the White House cafeteria, known as the mess, on Sept. 28 and again, for lunch, on Oct. 24.
The third visit, on Sunday, Nov. 4, occurred just three days before Gen. Petraeus resigned as CIA director, citing an extramarital affair. Kelley also took a tour of the White House that day with her husband, Scott, and their three children, as well as Khawam and her child.
Broadwell visited the White House twice -- in June 2009, when she met with a National Security Staff member who handled Afghanistan and Pakistan policy, and in June 2011 when she attended a broad briefing on Afghanistan-Pakistan for approximately 20 guests, according to the White House official.
The women have emerged as key figures in the scandal that cost Petraeus his job.
Numerous government and law enforcement officials have told NBC News that Kelley inadvertently triggered the investigation that revealed Petraeus' extramarital affair with Broadwell, his biographer, by complaining to an FBI agent she knew about a series of harassing emails she had received. Agents investigating the cyber-harassment case first determined that Broadwell was the author of the emails, then found evidence of her affair with Petraeus, the officials said.
Jill Kelley, the Tampa woman at the center of the scandal that brought down David Petraeus, reportedly had connections that went beyond the social and military elite of Tampa. NBC's Andrea Mitchell reports.

I'm sure that obama didn't know anything at all about the visits. And likely it was some kind of set up masterminded by that nefarious ex-President Bush to try to get "the goods" on obama, knowing as he did ahead of time that obama was going to throw Americans under the bus in Benghazi. Darn Republicans foretelling the future trying to make things difficult for the empty suit.

What we have here are a pair of shameless political/military groupies & social climbers who are desperate for recognition and in the case of Kelley, money as well. I know this type only too well. Always living way above their means and scrounging favors from those in positions of authority. Kelley and her husband are in hock up to their eyeballs and yet they're still living large, stiffing creditors and carrying on as though all is right with the world.
These two bimbos are little more than tarts and apparently will stop at nothing to advance themselves. What a sorry state of affairs.

That probably explains the black chopper over my house and that street crew out front that has been working the same pot hole for five days. I guess its over for us now. On with the cover-up. If something "smells like fish" in this case it's probably just the water of Tampa Bay. It's a stretch (although technically true) to call any Tampa property "ocean front". Sorry Floridians, I know the water of the bay can get choppy at times, but never like the Atlantic or Pacific coasts.

The election is over - Democrats have Clinton, Kennedy, Spitzer, with their sexual appetites and of course Bush who gets all the blame-now Bush will get the blame for no more twinkies. What is missing - we have an ambassador and staff who were raped and killed; all of these swingers have parents, spouses, children, and siblings - it has to be so hard to see their family members in the news for x-rated conduct/living. The best we should do is leave it alone and let the government sort thru it and report back to us.

Quit side stepping the real issue, the White House was trying to Blackmail David Petraeus to not expose the lie of President Obama that the Benghazi attacks were due to to a film posted on You Tube. David Petraeus testified before Congress that he notified the White House 1 hour and 18 minutes after the attack the Al Qaeda was responsible. President Obama lied and then passed on the lie to Susan Rice. A good way to start out his second term, lying to the American people. Bad reporting. This article makes it sound as if these women were attending meetings in the Oval Office. The meetings they went to were in the Old Executive Office Building, a couple of blocks from the White House. It's considered part of the White House "complex," but we're not talking about sleepovers in the Lincoln Bedroom.
Not much interest in Jill but Paula is welcome in my bedroom.

As far as White House visits thousands go to the place every year it is and will remain the peoples house we own it unless Romney bought it to get admission charges so he can make more money.
